Our approach to family law begins with the basic belief that legal matters between family members are best resolved without going to court.

Mediation is an alternative to going to court and avoids the need to serve the other party with legal documents and appear before a judge. Both sides must be willing to participate. Matters are handled in a law office or even remotely from home. Parties find that mediation can also be the most cost-effective way to resolve their legal matters.

There are times, however, when litigation in family court is required. In those cases, we represent our clients aggressively and take pride in providing open communication throughout the case.  Strong communication is one attribute that sets us apart from other law firms.  Being informed in advance about the steps in your case including cost, timing, and expectations helps reduce the anxiety and emotionality of the process.
